Ever since I made aprons for the kitchen staff at our favorite Mexican restaurant, the wait staff (yes, both of them!) have been hinting - with decreasing subtleness, I might add - that they would like new aprons too. ;)
So, more aprons are now in my queue. The pattern is quite simple - it's the small bright green one - middle view in the top row:
I picked a bottom-weight black fabric with a subtle strip in it. I'm hoping that this sturdy fabric will last a long time. An interesting tidbit - the pattern calls for bias tape to be used as the tie.
While the fabric has to be black, I'm going to look for some trim to personalize and decorate each apron. Val likes blues and Itzel likes red. The pattern looks extremely easy, so I'm going to get these out quickly. I'm not sure exactly when, but don't worry, I'll get to them. They are in the queue... ;)
