I had the opportunity to visit my friend Juana again last weekend. It seems that, other than a weekly grocery shopping trip, she's pretty much stuck in the house 24/7. So I took her and the baby out for lunch and a quick trip to - where else? - Joann's! ;)
She picked out this pattern for me to make for baby Alex:

Oh, by the way, she picked the union suit view with built-in feet. You know, the view that requires FOURTEEN snaps to be sewn on by HAND! Yikes! :(
And she picked this cute, stretch knit fabric:

I'm going to TRY to get it made before I see them again - probably within the next two weeks. In any event, I'll get to it - it's in the queue! :)

Two words: Snap tape. Already has snaps attached, just sew it in place with a zipper foot.
or a snap source snap setter. they are fantastic.
