Sorry...

I know I owe you some posts...  :(

There's a lot going on right now and some of it is pretty difficult, but don't give up on me.

I'll announce the winners of my blog birthday give-away tomorrow and I'll get back on track soon.

Major things on the horizon:
2) my silent auction items - so far, 1 doll house, 2 barns & 1 mail box
3) Ana's going away party (next weekend)

In the meantime, I hope everyone has a wonderful sewing weekend.

Hang in there, Gwen! I think you owe more to yourself than to your patient readers, IMNSHO.

Popping out of lurkdom to say no apology needed! I read your blog daily and want you to know how much you are appreciated out here in cyberland. Take your time. You've been thru a lot.

No fire house?! No zoo!? Well, then!

No worries, Gwen, I'm sure we all empathize with what's going on, and most of us have had life fall on them at some point.

I am deeply sorry you lost your friend. There is no logic to these things and happen they will. I do understand. Along with the losses we suffer as we get older, we experienced the sudden loss of a dear friend. He was 43; it was St. Patrick's day. A memorial tree was planted in our front yard, by us and many of our friends. We held a "mixed culture" ceremony when the tree is planted and twice a year during Samhain and St. Patrick's Day we make our way to the Memorial Red Bud Tree and toast our friend and pour him a bit. I suggest a memorial tree, something she loves. Invite friends and family to help you dig the hole and plant it. Scatter herbs (Native American), read planting ceremonies, speak your hearts, reflect all your cultural backgrounds. Every year you will be blessed with growth and beauty as we are.
