Friday Confession

I don't have any particular sewing-related gift(s) on my Christmas wish list - there are no "big toys" that I really need this year.

Of course, my favorite gift is always a gift certificate to JoAnn's. ;)

How about you? What are you hoping that "Santa" will bring for your sewing room this year? Anything too big to fit in a stocking? ;)

I want for Santa to bring a manual for my serger, some serger thread, a lesson on knits and the serger, and maybe some other notions. I am doing my first real SWAP, so anything that goes in that would be pretty spectacular.
Do you think Santa could bring me time to sew in??
Hope all is well!

I always love new inspiring books about sewing or photography. I saw some oh so cute wooden bobbins with biais tape at clothkits that I would love to see in my sewing room. But other then that, no, no specific wishes :-)

God, I get to be the resident bah humbug again this year.

Money's tight, got a kid, so all Christmas presents go to him. To be fair though, I buy stuff when I can the rest of the year and I haven't gotten anything other than the "oh, I suppose we have to give you something so we don't look bad" gift on the 25th of December for more years than I care to count and I wouldn't be able to answer it even if I wasn't Scrooge.

Before you ask, no I don't really like Christmas. I'd rather take the money that I would spend on myself and buy someone dinner so THEY don't wind up being as big of a downer as I am during the holidays, which is what I usually do.

I don't need more sewing stuff, and I buy patterns on sale whenever I want (because I "need" more?). However, even a $5 gift card to Joann's would be appreciated as another excuse, er, reason to shop there.

Sarah, thanks for the idea of TIME (what's that ...).

Santa is not very good at sewing items. When I want something for my sewing hobby, I buy it myself.

I would love a gift certificate to the Atlanta Thread & Supply Company. I love buying Maxi-Lock serger thread and Guterman thread when they are on sale.

Lol, I already got my big gift for the year--a new dressform that isn't covered in duct tape or has a tendency to fall over! (It came in early and my parents weren't sure where to store it.) I'm hoping that maybe a book on fitting alterations will show up too.

I have tons of wants but no real needs. The best Christmas gift for this year is TIME. I'm graduating in a week so now I will finally have time to sew again. I never thought I'd see the day when I didn't have homework looming over my head. The problem now is which project to start with?!

I don't have anything major sewing related on my list. Gift cards for fabric are always welcome, though.

TIME! I want more time to SEW my OWN sewing projects. If my family would help take some things off my plate (like the never ending laundry) I would have time. So that's what I've asked for,the family to give me some cleaning services and help out more. They don't have to spend any $!

The most thing I want is for everyone to carry around peace and love inside themselves. What a beautiful world it would be if we all did. There are so many problems in the world today.. so much hate. I want to plant seeds of love in everyone. Imagine all the people living as one. Just IMAGINE!

I was my own personal Santa this year when I bought the Babylock Enterprise and oh what fun it has been! I bought the cap attachment this weekend! I guess I've been a really good girl this year! LOL
