In the Queue Wednesday

Babies, babies, everywhere... One friend is pregnant, another friend has a new son, and yet another friend has new twins!

As I think I've said before, this is my favorite gift pattern for baby showers and new Moms. It's quick and easy to sew. It gives me an excuse to buy some of those adorable flannel prints that are available. Moms seem to really like it! What more could you ask?

So, I'd like to make up four of these relatively soon. My nieces' outfits are up next, but don't worry, I'll get to these. They're in my queue! ;)

Isn't it always the way, how babies seem to arrive in cycles! What a happy queue you have today! Enjoy ...

ROFL I'm the friend that they come whining to about looking awful and how to get something pretty in with all the baby mess and then I generally make them a bag or a pretty apron, but for them not the baby (I do buy stuff).

But then they're like "Oh you want to hold the baby?" and I'm like..."Yeah, no it's ok. I can see them fine from across the room."

It's very nice of you to do it, and it's a great queue, but like I just told my brother when he shoved off my baby nephew* onto me, my biological clock broke. Babies, and even making their clothing, makes me nervous.

*for the record, I do have a child, and he managed to survive his babyhood, but we were both relieved when he got old enough to be a little person. As to my nephew, it matters not that he's a baby of less then 3 months old, he seems to think his Aunt was made for holding him and that I must do so constantly.

Good pattern tip! I should pick this up and crank some of these out for my niece. Babies can never have too many sleepers, right?
